Our contract
Every puppy leaves on a verbal contract — my word, given to you in person, not a form to sign. This page sets out exactly what that promise means.
Lifetime take-back
If at any point in your dog's life you can no longer keep them — for any reason, no questions asked — I will take them back. This applies for the whole of their life, not just the first few weeks or the health-guarantee period below. You will never be told to re-home a Fur-st Class puppy through a stranger, a shelter, or an online ad.
No re-selling
Puppies are sold as pets, to be kept by the household named on the contract. You agree not to sell, re-home privately, or breed from your puppy without contacting me first. If your circumstances change, see the take-back clause above — that is what it is there for.
Health guarantee
Every puppy leaves with the health test results for their mum, an up-to-date vet check, first vaccinations, and a signed record of everything done so far. For the first 24 months, I will cover the reasonable cost of investigating a congenital or hereditary condition that a vet confirms was present before your puppy left my care, provided routine vet checks and vaccinations have been kept up.
Spay requirement for pet-quality puppies
Puppies sold on a pet contract must be neutered or spayed by the age recommended by your vet, and proof provided to me. Puppies are never sold entire for breeding — every girl who has a litter here does so on my terms, as an adult dog I already know inside out, and is spayed after a small number of litters. That is the whole point of how this is run.
Why it's verbal, not written
I've never sold a puppy on anything but my word, and I'm not about to start now. This page is that word, written down plainly so you can see exactly what it means before you ever put your name on a waiting list. There's nothing to sign — I take it just as seriously either way. If you have questions about any of it, ask before you join the list, not after — I would always rather you asked.
